Media Center:

With the ever increase in demand for e-content from the students, alumni, faculty and others the institution has felt the justification for establishing a full-fledged media centre with all technologically advanced facilities. Taking this into consideration, the institution has developed a media center. The centeris equipped with such facilities like green screen video editing, audio mixing and basic animation creation facilities using open source softwares. With this facility in place, the institution is in a position to develop e-content and promote e-learning through public online platform. The media center is driven by a team consisting of experts for e-content development and skilled technicians who can handle the software and hardware with dexterity.

Lecture Capturing System (LCS):

Lecture capturing system has become a mandatory requirement in the present day. Considering its importance, the institution has made its availability across all the engineering departments. The system essentially consists of a video capturing camera, collar microphones and open source software. The system has flexibility as it can be moved across all classrooms within the department. The lecture capturing system is being used to advantage in the present circumstances when the classes are taking place in the online mode. The institution has subscribed to g-suite provided by Google. This Google meet platform is also being used extensively by all the faculty for recording their lectures and making them available to the students who have missed the online classes.

Audio & Visual Centre:

In order to promote e-learning among the students and faculty, the college has also established an Audio & Visual centre to complete the availability of all facilities required to produce and project e-content. This facility has an exclusive projector, TV, Audio systems and computers with internet facility for browsing e-content. This centre has also become a favourable seat of learning for the students and faculty who are in the pursuit of enriching their knowledge. The centre is a supplement but cannot be a substitute to age old practice of classroom teaching.
